A morning tea with Mum is a fabulous way to celebrate Mother’s Day. A cuppa, some delicious finger foods and wonderful company. This year why not make that cuppa a little more delightful, a little less ordinary and a lot more delectable.
Try out the Blackcurrant and Fruit Tea for something a little extraordinary.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Barker’s Blackcurrant Fruit Syrup
2 English Breakfast tea bags or 1 tbsp tea leaves
4 cups boiling water
1/2 cup sliced fresh fruit and/or whole berries
Method:
Simply place all ingredients in a teapot or heatproof jug.
Strain to serve.
Tips and serving suggestions:
Also great with Barker’s Blackcurrant & Boysenberry, Cranberry or Raspberry Fruit Syrups.
Replace Barker’s Blackcurrant Fruit Syrup with Barker’s Lemon & Barley Fruit Syrup, use Earl Grey tea and add 1Tbsp fresh grated ginger.
For a low calorie alternative, try Barker’s Lite Squeezed NZ Blackcurrants.
Simply use 1/2 cup of Barker’s Fruit Syrup instead of milk in your regular cup of tea.
