Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, I have been hearing this my whole life…. And I agree! Breakfast is important to get you motivated, to get your metabolism started, to get your energy levels up and to set you up for the day.
Knowing all of this does not necessarily help me get everything organised in the morning with enough time to actually sit down to a proper breakfast. As a mum of three with the school run to contend with I often find mornings very hectic and if corners need to be cut to make more time, well it’s usually my breakfast that gets cut.
Recent studies have shown that more time in the morning would not equate to a better breakfast, and almost two thirds of Australians are skipping breakfast. Sanitarium have taken these findings on board and developed a convenient and healthy wholegrain option to allow Aussies to breakfast on the run.
“The research shows that there are a lot of people skipping breakfast in the morning. This is worrying when it is the best way to set yourself up for the day. Weet-Bix GO is a convenient option when time gets away and you don’t have time for a sit down breakfast. It means you can still start your day with wholegrains and enjoy the wholesome taste of Weet-Bix GO anywhere,” Mr Derrick said.
Weet-Bix GO is made with real Weet-Bix which make them very high in wholegrains and a source of fibre. Weet-Bix GO scores a health star rating of 3-3.5 stars across the range.
